Favorite Living History Location: I'd say it's a tie right now between Barrington Living History Farm and The Old State House in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Best Living History Moments: One of my favorite memories from Civil War reenacting was several years ago in Shiloh, TN while camped in the woods. It was too cold to sleep so I got up around midnight and headed for the nearest camp fire. I looked down the dirt road in each direction and saw fire after fire with 10 - 15 men standing around each one. When a new guy would arrive at the fire talking about how freak'n cold it was and then ask for the time (no matter what time it really was) we kept telling them it was 10:30pm. Some of the reactions were hilarious. Good times...
If you could go back and live in any time period it would be: I would love to see what Rome was like during the middle of Pax Romana, after the Coliseum was built. I wouldn't want to live there too long though...
If you could challenge anyone (dead, alive, or fictional) to a duel who would it be, why, and what weapon would be used: I would duel the rapper Doug E. Fresh, Doogie Howser and the cartoon character Doug Funny. They would use rubber band guns and I would have a shot gun. Their existence created too many jokes and annoying nick names for me while going to school in the 90's.
